favorite beauty product - benefit's they're real mascara

I used to use around three mascaras, way too many coats and spend ten minutes on my lashes (yes, really), now I use one coat of this mascara and am happy with my lashes all day long. I'm wearing one coat in the photo above and I find it's the perfect finish for me and my lashes still look natural. I've also stripped my daily face make up down to just primer and foundation, bronzer, eyebrow filler and mascara - it feels so much better to not wear lots of make up and I cant believe I've ditched my liquid liner after so many years of wearing it every day! I just found this mascara made my lashes stand out so much I felt like I didn't need to wear anything else on my eyes. It's water resistent, smudge proof and oil free so really, it's an all round winner for me!

favorite fashion find - river island rose gold watch

This beautiful watch is from none other than River Island for just £25. If like me you like the idea of a Michael Kors watch but not the idea of spending quite the insane amount of pennies on one, this is a good substitute until Christmas time!

favorite song - jimmy eat world - 23

One of my favorite feelings is listening to a song and being able to relate to every single one of the lyrics. I don't need to go into detail, just know that this song gives me that exact feeling.

favourite buy - heart shaped crockery

I bought a new crockery set from Next - all heart shaped! Plates, side plates and bowls, they make everything I eat look so much prettier! I'm obsessed with everything heart shaped, I received a huge heart shaped photo frame for my birthday which I need to fill with photos and put up somewhere as well, uh oh!

This is a new feature that I'm aiming to do every week - next week I'm thinking of venturing into my favorite finds for the ever fast approaching autumn/winter, be it Christmas presents, nail polish, recipes... it's on it's way so we may as well be prepared!

louise gray for topshop makeup

LOUISE GRAY FOR TOPSHOP: NAIL POLISH IN 'PINCH PUNCH' - £6.50, LIPSTICK IN 'LEGEND' - £10, CREAM BLUSH DUO IN 'UP IN THE AIR' - £12.50, FREE COMPACT MIRROR @ TOPSHOP

I popped into Topshop to see my best friend Becky at work, she immediately showed me the new Louise Gray range of makeup that had just arrived and I loved it! The whole collection is very bright, unique and colourful - much like the clothes! I picked up a lipstick, cream blush duo and nail polish.

The cream blush duo is made up of two very bold colours, they're quite pigmented but I found them a little greasy on the skin which I didn't like. You can build up the colour with these products and I really like the apricot shade dotted and blended lightly along my cheekbones. You can use the colours individually or blend them together for a more sculpted look.

This is a very bright pink, it's so pretty! It's moisturising which is nice as I cannot stand lipstick that dries out my lips. The product lasts a long time and also builds up into a bright, neon pink which is a lovely shade.

L - R: APRICOT CREAM BLUSH, PINK CREAM BLUSH, LEGEND LIPSTICK.

I'm in two minds about this nail polish, I thought it would apply a chunky pink glitter coat to my nails but it was mostly silver with a hint of pink pigment to the polish itself. When applied over pink polish it looks very pretty (I've applied mine over Models Own Utopia and Indian Ocean) and gives you perfect barbie glitter nails!

You also receive a free compact mirror and pouch when you buy at least two products, wahoo!

Will you be buying anything from this collection? What's your take on this bold, colourful makeup range?

collection hot looks nail polish

COLLECTION HOT LOOKS NAIL POLISH - £1.79 @ SUPERDRUG/BOOTS*

T - B: TWILIGHT, BIG HAIR, CANDY FLOSS, MILKSHAKE, JIP HOP, LOOK AT ME!

Collection (previously known as Collection 2000) are a brand that provide us with some unexpected little gems. A lot of people overlook Collection but just like their Lasting Perfection Concealer, I have fallen in love with another of their products; the Hot Look nail polish collection.
The collection is full of beautiful, unique, on trend shades which are fast drying with a high gloss finish. Some of my favourite shades are 'Look At Me!' - a bold lime green, 'Milkshake' - a pretty pink toned nude and 'Twilight' - a deep purple. Each polish is an absolute steal at just £1.79 and available from all Collection stockists.

Which of these shades would you consider purchasing? Any nail art ideas with these colours spring to mind?

benefit go tropicoral

L - R: CORALISTA BLUSH, CORALISTA BLUSH, HIGH BEAM, CHA CHA TINTBENEFIT GO TROPICAL - £28.50*
Benefit's newest product launch is a range of cheek and lip colour kits designed around their most popular blushers, we have 'Go TropiCORAL' (Coralista), 'Feelin' Dandy' (Dandelion) and 'Sugarlicious' (Sugarbomb). Each kit comes with a blusher, iconic highlighter 'High Beam', a lip/cheek stain and gloss - all in mini sizes. The packaging is so pretty, I'm an absolute sucker for Benefit's packaging and I always keep my kit boxes to store hairbands, pins and other bits and bobs in because I cant bring myself to throw them away! My kit is the gorgeous coral shade of Coralista. The idea behind these kits are to provide you with the products and guidance you need to create a simple yet effective make up look  - there's also a mirror included so it's perfect for a quick make up look while you're on the go! I really like my kit, Coralista is such a lovely, warm shade that it livens up my complexion really nicely.

What do you think of the idea of a cheek and lip kit? Will you be buying any of these shades?

sleek makeup i-Divine ultra mattes v1

SLEEK MAKE UP I DIVINE ULTRA MATTES V1 BRIGHTS PALETTE - £7.99 @ SUPERDRUG

So the name of this palette doesn't exactly roll off the tongue does it? Sleep Makeup i-Divine Ultra Mattes V1 Brights palette... phew! There are twelve palettes to chose from in Sleek's i-Divine range and as soon as I saw these ten beautiful bright shades I had to have them! Other than Sleek's infamous brow kit, blush and 'Pout Paint' I haven't really had much experience with their products so I was apprehensive regarding the quality of this palette. The packaging is very simple and neat, something I like in a product. It was reasonably priced at £7.99 and I actually really do like this product!

L - R: POW! BAMM! CRETE, PUCKER, FLOSS, DRAGON FLY.
L - R: STRIKE, SUGARLITE, POUT, BOLT, CHILL, CRICKET.

I found the shades to be very well pigmented with the exception of 'Floss' and 'Crete', but I'm wondering if this is because they are very light colours? My favourite shade from the palette is 'Strike' a vibrant orange which I wish I could wear everyday without getting funny looks from passers by, maybe I'll try it! The shadows stay on really well, and because of their high pigmentation they apply really easily and fallout isn't a problem. I'm in love with this palette, I'll be trying more of the i-Divine collection for sure!

Do you have any i-Divine palettes? Which Sleek products are your must haves?
